Al-Massar Mission:

Enhancing the importance of the Nomads role and Pastoralists in Sustainable Development, to Increase their participation in Sustainable Development, and to enhance the environmental conservation & influencing them in the process.

 

 

 

The Mandate:

 

Contribute to Peace building, tolerance and human rights
Ensure access to education for the nomadic children.

 

 

upport the nomads economic resources by providing necessary services veterinary services to the nomads livestock
Contribute to reduce maternal, adults and child health by ensuring access to child and reproductive health
Contribute to raise the community awareness about gender, women empowerment and to promote the status of the nomadic woman

 

 

 

Inform and educate the nomadic community about the harmful traditional practices, the methods of prevention from the STDs including HIV/AIDS, nutrition
Raise the public awareness about environment and environmental conservation and rehabilitation of degraded areas.
Contribute to poverty alleviation activities among nomads and Introduce new livelihood interventions

Our Background

 

 

Al Massar Charity Organization for Nomads Development & Environmental Conservation is a non-governmental, non-political and non-profitable organization established in 2000. It is registered with the Humanitarian Aid Commission (HAC) in 2001. It was also registered in Sudan Council for Voluntary Association (SCOVA).
